Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy
Globa Grid | International Sourcing, Wholesale & E-Commerce
1. Introduction
At Globa Grid, customer satisfaction, transparency, and trust are at the core of our business. We are committed to providing reliable products, professional sourcing solutions, and a fair, transparent process for returns, refunds, replacements, and order cancellations.
This policy applies to both our Business-to-Consumer (B2C) retail operations and Business-to-Business (B2B) services, including product sourcing, factory sourcing, wholesale procurement, manufacturing coordination, international shipping, and logistics support.
All returns, refunds, and cancellations are subject to the conditions outlined below and applicable laws and regulations of Bangladesh.
2. Return Policy for Retail Customers (B2C)
Customers may request a return within 7 calendar days of receiving their order if the product meets one or more of the following conditions:
* The product is damaged or defective upon delivery.
* The customer receives an incorrect product, model, size, or color.
* The delivered product is materially different from its advertised description or specifications.
* The order contains missing items, components, or accessories.
* The product is non-functional upon arrival.
* The product is expired, counterfeit, or otherwise materially misrepresented.
Customers should report visible damage, missing items, or incorrect deliveries within 48 hours of receipt, where reasonably possible, to facilitate faster verification. This early reporting recommendation does not reduce the 7-day return request period.
Returns due solely to a change of mind are not generally accepted unless expressly permitted on the product page or agreed upon by Globa Grid.
3. Return Eligibility & Conditions
To qualify for a return, the following conditions should be met:
* The return request must be submitted within the applicable return period.
* The product should remain unused, except for reasonable inspection or testing necessary to identify a defect.
* Original packaging, labels, manuals, warranty cards, and supplied accessories should be included where available.
* The customer must provide a valid order number, invoice, or other proof of purchase.
* Photographs, videos, or other relevant evidence may be requested to verify the claim.
Globa Grid may inspect returned products before approving a refund or replacement.
A return will not be rejected solely because the original packaging was necessarily opened to discover a genuine defect. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
4. Non-Returnable Products
The following products are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns:
* Products that have been damaged through misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification.
* Products with defects caused by improper installation or handling after delivery.
* Customized or specially manufactured products made to customer specifications.
* Personal hygiene products with opened protective seals.
* Digital products, activation codes, or software licenses already activated or redeemed.
* Products explicitly identified as non-returnable before purchase.
These restrictions do not exclude remedies available under applicable law for defective, incorrect, counterfeit, or materially misrepresented products.
5. Electronics, Gadgets & Warranty
For electronic devices, smart gadgets, accessories, and other technology products:
* Products found defective or non-functional upon delivery may qualify for return, replacement, or refund.
* Warranty coverage, if available, will be specified on the product page, invoice, or warranty documentation.
* Products without an advertised warranty will not automatically receive an additional commercial warranty.
* Defects arising after the return period may be handled under the applicable manufacturer or seller warranty.
* Damage caused by misuse, liquid exposure, physical impact, improper electrical supply, or unauthorized repairs is generally excluded from commercial warranty coverage.
Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies provided by applicable consumer protection laws.
6. Order Cancellation for Retail Customers
Customers may request cancellation before their order has been dispatched. If a prepaid order is successfully canceled before dispatch, Globa Grid will refund the eligible amount in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be immediately possible. Customers may instead request a return where eligible. Globa Grid may cancel an order due to product unavailability, incorrect pricing, payment verification issues, suspected fraudulent activity, or legal restrictions.
If Globa Grid cancels a prepaid order and cannot provide the agreed product, the customer will be entitled to an appropriate refund.
7. B2B Returns & Refunds — Product and Factory Sourcing
For B2B clients, including wholesalers, importers, retailers, and entrepreneurs, returns and refunds depend on the sourcing agreement, product specifications, supplier arrangements, and stage of procurement.
A. Before Supplier Purchase or Manufacturing Begins
Clients may request cancellation before Globa Grid has placed a confirmed supplier order or incurred non-recoverable expenses. Any refund will account for services already performed and reasonable, disclosed, non-recoverable expenses, where contractually and legally permitted.
B. After Supplier Order Confirmation
Once an order has been confirmed with a manufacturer or supplier, cancellation or modification may be restricted. Any available refund will depend on recoverable supplier payments, contractual commitments, and applicable law.
C. Custom Manufacturing & Private Label Orders
Customized products, OEM/ODM manufacturing, private-label production, and specially manufactured goods are generally not eligible for change-of-mind cancellation after production has commenced.
Where a manufacturing defect or material deviation from approved specifications is established, Globa Grid will review available corrective measures, including repair, replacement, rework, or refund, as appropriate under the agreement and applicable law.
D. Incorrect or Defective B2B Products
Business clients should notify Globa Grid within 7 calendar days of receiving the goods, preferably with photographs, videos, inspection reports, and relevant order documentation.
Claims concerning concealed defects will be considered according to the applicable contract, warranty, and legal requirements. Where Globa Grid is responsible for supplying goods that materially fail to meet agreed specifications, an appropriate remedy will be provided subject to the relevant agreement and applicable law.
8. Wholesale Orders & Bulk Purchases
Wholesale and bulk orders may involve supplier-specific terms, minimum order quantities, production commitments, and international shipping arrangements. Returns or cancellations for such orders will be assessed according to:
* The agreed quotation, purchase order, or contract.
* Product specifications and approved samples.
* The stage of procurement or production.
* Supplier return and cancellation conditions.
* Documented, non-recoverable expenses.
* Applicable legal obligations.
Partial refunds or replacements may be offered where only part of an order is affected.
9. International Shipping, Customs & Logistics
International sourcing and logistics services may involve manufacturers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs authorities, and other independent service providers. Shipment delays, customs inspections, additional duties, and transport-related incidents will be assessed according to the agreed service scope and applicable legal requirements.
* Customers will be informed of relevant shipping terms, estimated timelines, and known charges before order confirmation.
* Damage or shortages should be reported promptly with supporting documentation.
* Claims for loss or damage during international transit will be reviewed based on the applicable agreement, carrier responsibility, insurance coverage, and evidence.
* Any insurance claim will be subject to the applicable insurance terms.
* Customs inspection alone does not automatically remove a customer's right to an otherwise valid claim.
* Where Globa Grid is responsible for a delivery failure, defect, or contractual breach, the matter will be resolved according to the agreement and applicable law.
International freight charges, customs duties, inspection fees, and other third-party expenses already incurred may be non-refundable where lawfully agreed and properly disclosed.
10. Delayed, Lost & Undelivered Orders
If an order is delayed, lost, or cannot be fulfilled, customers should contact Globa Grid with their order information. We will review the circumstances, communicate the available options, and provide an appropriate resolution.
For domestic retail orders, delivery and refund obligations will follow applicable Bangladesh digital commerce requirements. For international sourcing and pre-order transactions, the agreed delivery schedule and applicable legal requirements will govern. Where a prepaid order cannot be fulfilled and the customer is entitled to a refund, Globa Grid will arrange the refund within the applicable legal timeframe.
11. Refund Eligibility
A refund may be approved when:
* An eligible product return has been verified.
* An order has been canceled before dispatch or procurement commitments, as applicable.
* A prepaid product is unavailable or cannot be supplied.
* The delivered product is materially incorrect, defective, or incomplete.
* A qualifying B2B order is canceled under its agreed terms.
* A refund is required under applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, Globa Grid may offer a replacement, repair, partial refund, or full refund, subject to customer rights and applicable law.
12. Refund Processing Time & Method
Once a refund is approved, Globa Grid aims to initiate the refund within 7 working days, or sooner where required by law. For prepaid orders that cannot be fulfilled, any shorter or mandatory refund deadline under applicable law will take precedence. Refunds will ordinarily be issued through the original payment method where technically possible. Depending on the payment channel, refunds may be processed through:
* Mobile financial services, including bKash or Nagad.
* Bank transfer.
* Debit or credit card payment reversal.
* Another mutually agreed, lawful refund method.
Actual receipt of funds may depend on the processing time of the relevant bank or payment provider.
Refundable delivery charges will be included where Globa Grid is responsible for the incorrect, damaged, or defective delivery or where required by law. Any deduction for disclosed, non-recoverable B2B costs must be consistent with the applicable agreement and legal requirements.
13. Return Shipping Costs
If a return is approved due to an incorrect, damaged, defective, or incomplete product attributable to Globa Grid, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered or reimbursed by Globa Grid.
For voluntary returns permitted as an exception, return shipping costs may be borne by the customer, provided the applicable charges are disclosed in advance. Customers should obtain return instructions before sending products back.
14. How to Request a Return or Refund
To submit a return, replacement, cancellation, or refund request:
1. Contact Globa Grid through an official customer support channel.
2. Provide your order number, invoice, and contact details.
3. Explain the issue and submit relevant photographs, videos, or documents.
4. Allow our team to review the request and provide return or inspection instructions where necessary.
5. Once the claim is verified, Globa Grid will communicate the approved resolution and applicable timeframe.
Customers should not ship products to our office or warehouse without receiving return instructions.
15. Complaint Resolution
Globa Grid is committed to handling complaints fairly, professionally, and transparently.
We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and provide an initial assessment within 5 working days, subject to the complexity of the issue. Cases involving overseas suppliers, manufacturing inspections, freight claims, or customs documentation may require additional investigation.
Customers will be informed of material delays in resolving their complaints. Nothing in this policy restricts a customer's right to seek remedies through the relevant consumer protection authorities or other lawful channels.
16. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Events
Certain circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, major transport disruptions, port closures, government restrictions, or other extraordinary events, may affect order fulfillment.
Globa Grid will communicate material disruptions and work toward a reasonable resolution. Such events do not automatically cancel refund obligations or other customer rights arising under applicable law.
17. Policy Updates
Globa Grid may revise this policy to reflect changes in operations, services, or applicable regulations. Updated terms will be published on our website with a revised effective date. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued under applicable law or confirmed agreements.
